Today marks the National Day Against Obesity — and we celebrate it with action, example, and education! 💪🍎
Over the past months, the Jogar na Linha project, promoted by the Luís Figo Foundation in partnership with Egas Moniz School of Health and Science and Porto Editora/Escola Virtual, held the school competition “Jogar na Linha” — a powerful initiative against childhood obesity, promoting healthy lifestyle habits through Health, Education, and Sport.
More than 250 school projects were developed with creativity, commitment, and great team spirit. This week, during the awards ceremony at the Egas Moniz School of Health & Science auditorium in Almada, we celebrated the 12 national finalists and announced the big winners! 🏆
Because to educate is to prevent.
Because to act is to protect.
Because fighting childhood obesity is a responsibility we all share.
