Yesterday afternoon with the Sleeping Beauty

Yesterday, at the invitation of the Luis Figo Foundation, children and young people from different institutions attended the traditional Christmas celebration. This year, the afternoon was filled with magic at the Politeama Theater, accompanied by Filipe La Feria’s musical “Sleeping Beauty.”

This musical for the whole family tells a beautiful story of love and courage, carrying a message of humanity and the eternal values of life, tolerance, and love for others in a contemporary and progressive vision. It aims to contribute to building a better, more compassionate world, filled with hope and joy.

More than a hundred children and young people from various services of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, the REMAR Association, and the Monte da Caparica EB 1 School participated in this unforgettable experience.

The young guests received the traditional Christmas hat from the Luis Figo Foundation.

This initiative, alongside the already traditional Luis Figo Foundation Christmas Gift Campaign, in partnership with Comansi, distributing toys in pediatric wards of some hospitals and IPSS across the country, marks the Foundation’s Christmas celebration, signifying this important time over the years. In this way, the Luis Figo Foundation has been providing unique and memorable experiences to thousands of children and young people, also promoting their social and cultural inclusion.

The afternoon was a true fairy tale!
