Christmas is a time for Sharing and Presence.
Today we remember the symbolic FLF Christmas gift-giving action, which represents exactly what we believe to be the true spirit of Christmas.
Dedicating time, attention, and affection to our own and to those who cross our path, fulfilling the purpose and mission of the Luís Figo Foundation.
That’s how it was on Christmas Eve. We were at the Social and Parish Center of São Pedro da Trafaria to experience an afternoon of joy and togetherness dedicated to the local community living in more vulnerable contexts.
The FLF gifts to be offered to dozens of children were individually wrapped, preparations were made to welcome families to the auditorium of the Union of Parishes of Caparica and Trafaria, where they attended a musical moment provided by talented and entrepreneurial young people from the Municipality of Almada. Christmas food hampers were also prepared and delivered to each family, and the afternoon ended with the traditional Bolo Rei moment.
We thank everyone who got involved and donated to this initiative, in a spirit of unity and hope.
