Today we mark International Day of Education, highlighting a project that is making a real difference in the present and future of our children: JOGAR na LINHA.
A project by Fundação Luís Figo, in partnership with Egas Moniz School of Health and Science, which promotes healthy lifestyle habits from an early age, positioning itself as a concrete contribution to tackling childhood obesity through education, movement and awareness.
One year ago, we began this journey with the first educational sessions, involving the school community in a programme designed to empower and create real impact.
JOGAR na LINHA is built on the following pillars of its Action Programme:
▫️ Health Literacy
▫️ Food and Nutrition Education
▫️ Physical Activity
▫️ Citizenship and Well-Being
Because we believe that educating is teaching by example — it is caring, including, and making more conscious and healthier choices that contribute to improving everyone’s quality of life.
Education is a human right, a public good and an essential tool to transform lives.
