At the end of last week, we held the session to deliver glasses to the 24 children and young people from Escola Básica Integrada e JI Miradouro de Alfazina, in Monte da Caparica, as part of the “More Vision & Hearing” project.
Promoted by the Eugénio Leite Foundation, in partnership with the Luís Figo Foundation and Onesight Portugal – Essilor, this moment followed the screenings that had previously been carried out. Although symbolic, it was also very special: restoring clarity to their vision, confidence to their smiles, and equal opportunities in each child’s educational journey.
Because seeing well is essential to learning better, participating with confidence, and developing their full potential.
This initiative reinforces the commitment to promoting health, education and social inclusion, contributing to access to essential care.
We will continue to work with rigour, solidarity and social responsibility, transforming needs into opportunities and creating a real positive impact in the lives of children and young people.
