As part of the “Mais Visão & Audição” (More Vision & Hearing) project, the Luís Figo Foundation, in partnership with the Eugénio Leite Foundation and Onesight Portugal–Essilor, carried out another screening initiative last Saturday.
In this action, 34 children and young people from the Miradouro de Alfazina School Group, in Monte da Caparica, attended consultations at the Leite Clinics in Lisbon.
A total of 24 cases were identified as needing glasses 👓 — an essential support to improve learning, concentration, and the quality of life of these children and young people.
This joint project promotes equitable access to visual health, in line with the values of inclusion, solidarity, and real, positive social impact.
We believe that seeing better is also learning better — and that investing in children is investing in a fairer and better future for everyone.
