World Freedom Day
In Portugal, Freedom Day is celebrated on April 25, while the international date dedicated to the celebration of freedom is marked on January 23. This date was established by the UN and made official by UNESCO. Freedom is a fundamental right that allows all individuals to make their own choices, define their future paths, and decide on their ways of living.
At the Luís Figo Foundation, we work daily to create opportunities for children and young people to have the possibility of a future where they can make their own choices, with freedom, information, and wisdom.
